Maura J. Sweeney joined Lighthouse Guild in 2010. Ms. Sweeney brings 25 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare to our organization. She started her career as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Center, where she later held various clinical and management positions. She also spent a number of years with Fidelis Care New York, with responsibility for Enrollment, Member Services and Member Retention areas. Prior to joining Lighthouse Guild, she was the Executive Director of ArchCare Senior Life, a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) in New York.
At Lighthouse Guild, Ms. Sweeney has direct responsibility for all clinical and service programs. She is undertaking a comprehensive review and reengineering of all services and programs aimed at ensuring maximum productivity, efficiency and effectiveness. Furthermore, she is responsible for facilities management for all of the organization’s campus and is currently responsible for the construction and relocation of the new headquarters for Lighthouse Guild.
After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Boston College, Ms. Sweeney earned a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Columbia University’s Teachers College and a Master’s of Public Administration in Health Policy and Management from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University.
