Accommodating Students with Visual Impairment

About This Program

Every student should have access to music education. No student should be excluded because of visual impairment alone. This two-hour program prepares existing and emerging music teachers to meet the accommodation needs of students with visual impairment. Challenges students may face and modifications for reading music, learning an instrument, studying voice, and performance are discussed. The program also includes videos demonstrating a range of adaptive music technology.  After completing the program you will receive a printable certificate.
