Lighthouse Guild Code of Conduct and Ethics

Dear Colleagues:

Lighthouse Guild and its subsidiaries have a long-standing reputation for ethical behavior.  This is more than a source of pride for us; it is one of our greatest assets.  In an increasingly complex healthcare and service delivery environment, we will maintain our leadership only if we continue to merit the trust of the individuals we serve in the community, government and each other.

The Board of Directors has approved a Compliance Program designed to ensure that Lighthouse Guild maintains its commitment to ethical conduct by all employees, volunteers, officers and directors, and has appointed a Chief Compliance Officer responsible for overseeing this Program. Lighthouse Guild’s Code of Conduct and Ethics (the Code) is supplemented by a more detailed Compliance Program Manual and by the policies and procedures pertaining to each department.  This Code sets forth our general standards for legal and ethical conduct. We expect all employees, volunteers, officers and directors to uphold these principles. Please read this Code carefully and apply it to your duties and responsibilities. If you have any questions, contact your supervisor, the Compliance Officer or the Executive Office.

Violations of legal requirements or ethical standards jeopardize the welfare of our organization, its employees, the individuals we serve and the community. Ultimately, the responsibility for ethical behavior – and our reputation – rests with each of us.
