Oak Hill is Connecticut’s largest provider of services to people with disabilities. The organization addresses the needs of people of all ages, from newborns to seniors, with every intellectual, developmental, and physical disability. Oak Hill’s Eleanor A. Brooks Center Blindness Program has two core programs: the Daily Life Skills program and the Vocational Center. The Daily Life Skills program provides classes, workshops, and individual training on daily living skills, personal management, employment, social and leisure activities in the community, computer training, and assistive technology, as well as assistance with independent housing opportunities. The Vocational Center offers employment searches and specialized training for individuals seeking to enter the workplace or start a career.
