Stone Soup Group (SSG)
Stone Soup Group provides information, support, training, and resources to Alaskan families and professionals who care for individuals up to age 26 with special needs. The group helps address medical, school, behavioral, and community-related issues. Parent Navigators have experience working though systems, accessing services, and advocating for their own children’s needs and are available to meet one-on-one with clients or offer workshops and training based on need. Services are available statewide, and most are provided at no cost to families. Stone Soup Group is Alaska’s designated Parent Training and Information Center and the Family-to-Family Health Information Center.
