Located in Janesville, Wisconsin, in accord with the Wisconsin Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired and the Department of Public Instruction, the Wisconsin School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (WSBVI) provides Wisconsin students with vision loss with a quality experiential education developed and implemented through an Individualized Education Plan at no cost to the family. It is the only school of its kind in Wisconsin. Students ages 3-21 with or without additional disabilities are eligible to participate in the WSBVI program, which includes a K-12 education as well as an early childhood program, college and career readiness program, extracurricular activities, meals, on-campus housing, and the latest in assistive technology.
