Individual students need to raise $25 or more to perform at the event, while performance ensembles need to raise $100 or more per group.
Child Enrolled in the Comprehensive Music Program for Young People (CMPYP) includes a curriculum which serves as a foundation for establishing essential music skills. Classes include Braille music, music theory, music technology, music appreciation, dance, and individual instrumental lessons.
Adult Enrolled in Individual Lessons studies with a faculty member for 45 minutes each week. Instruction is available in voice, piano, guitar, recorder, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, drums, vibraphone and percussion.
Performance Ensembles consist of up to 30 students who rehearse together weekly. Youth ensembles include chorus, percussion, rock, and an eclectic instrumental group. Adult ensembles include a 25-member Vocal Ensemble, and two pop/rock ensembles.
